The 4 days Kenya Lodge Safari starts by a pick from your hotel after the breakfast, then depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley for photography and at Narok town for hot lunch in Narok Town. After lunch proceed on to Masai Mara. Arrive in time for a late afternoon game drive in this park, which is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park as an artificial border only separates the two. Masai Mara is renowned for its high animal concentration and abundance. Black manned lions, elephants, and buffalo can be seen (3 out of the big 5) though luck is essential for spotting leopard and rhino, which make the other two. The park is home to numerous plains game including the migratory wildebeest, the common zebra, and the Masai giraffe as well as antelopes like Thompson's gazelle, hartebeest, impala and Dik Dik among others. We shall then proceed to our lodge for dinner and overnight
The whole day explores the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. The Mara's gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq km - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on the game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra, and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard. In the Mara River Hippos, play and Cross bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains to the north. Dinner and overnight in Mara Sopa Lodges. Return at the Lodge Dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the reserve. The Masai Mara is famous for its lions, elephants, leopard, rhino and buffalo that make the 'big five' though luck is essential for spotting the other two namely which are rather shy and elusive. The park's animal concentration and abundance is second to none. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. Return at the Lodge Dinner and overnight. .
Pre breakfast game viewing catching the sunrise at the park. Experience early activities for the predators as they begin their day in the jungle. Return for breakfast and thereafter leave to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon.
